Off Season Update #2

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and wish you the best for our Christmas season now upon us.

As a reminder, please ensure your Arbiter is current with your availability as our assigning team is already getting schedules prepared. Also a good time to go through your gear and uniforms to ensure you are ready. The supplier runs specials in December and January so take advantage of that early.

Below is a link to the new rule changes for the 2024 season, please review them and we will have a thorough explanation at our annual interpretation meeting in March. Also, please take some of your reading time to go through the mechanics’ manual for review. I feel we are overall pretty strong on rules, but still need work on proper mechanics. The majority of KK’s this season will be related to mechanics and will include some video to illustrate more clear than just text in a manual. I find (in all sports) that if the correct mechanics are used (not just hand mechanics’, but proper positioning), then the rules naturally fall into place.
